Returns & Refunds Policy for Vintage Watches

Last updated: 30/06/2025

1. Online Purchases (Distance Sales)

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers who make purchases online or via distance communication channels are entitled to a statutory 14-day cooling-off period. This period commences on the day following receipt of the goods. During this period, customers may return eligible items for any reason or without providing a reason, subject to the following conditions:
- The item must be returned in the same condition as received;
- All original packaging, documentation, and accessories must be included;
- The item must not exhibit signs of wear, alteration, or damage beyond what is necessary for standard inspection.

Please note:
- The cooling-off period does not apply to bespoke, customised, or personalised items;
- The seller reserves the right to deduct a reasonable sum from the refund if there is evidence of handling beyond what is necessary to assess the item.

Returns will not be accepted for:
- Items knowingly purchased in a pre-damaged or altered condition;
- Items that have been used, worn, or modified post-delivery;
- Goods that have undergone repairs or servicing following the sale (unless proven faulty at the point of delivery);
- Requests based on a change of preference or discovery of a lower price elsewhere.

2. In-Person Sales

Purchases completed in person (e.g., in-store, at exhibitions, or through private appointments) are not covered by the statutory 14-day cooling-off period.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers are only entitled to a refund or exchange where the item is:
- Faulty;
- Not as described;
- Not fit for the intended purpose.

Refunds or exchanges will not be provided for:
- Changes of mind;
- Items purchased with prior disclosure and agreement of any cosmetic or functional imperfections.

3. Pre-Owned Items & Goodwill Repairs

All vintage and pre-owned timepieces are sold on an 'as-described' basis. Any pre-existing conditions or defects are documented and factored into the pricing. By completing a purchase under these terms, the buyer acknowledges and accepts the item's stated condition.

Repairs or servicing carried out post-sale as a gesture of goodwill do not establish grounds for cancellation or refund unless a statutory fault was present at the time of sale.

4. Returns Procedure (Applicable to Online Sales)

Customers wishing to initiate a return for an online purchase must contact us at info@gurgerltd.com within 10 days of receiving the item. Upon acceptance of the return request, instructions for secure return shipping will be provided. Unless the item is faulty or misdescribed, the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, insurance, and ensuring the item is safely packaged.

5. Commitment to Quality and Transparency

We take pride in the quality, authenticity, and accurate representation of each timepiece offered. All watches are carefully inspected, and full disclosure is provided regarding their condition. Should any clarification be required prior to purchase, we encourage prospective buyers to contact us directly.
